What a fantastic year 2015 has been! Lets take a look back...
AJPG Seniors reached 'That’s Showbiz' Finals at Blackpool Opera House and took part in a workshop with Tap Attack; AJPG Juniors was founded; we witnessed the reopening of the St Peter’s Centre. AJ in Oz was a huge success, along with our performances at Ravenshead Church Fête. Our seniors took part in a Contemporary Workshop with Adaire to Dance; AJPG Juniors performed in 'That’s Showbiz 2015’; We helped raise money and awareness for Bowel Cancer with a huge Flashmob; Mrs P retired after an amazing 40 years of teaching, Miss Katie had a baby boy and we topped it all off with 4 huge exam sessions!
We wish everyone all the best for 2016 and look forward to lots of brilliant opportunities and adventures ahead!
Our next exam session is quickly approaching and we're working hard in lessons preparing the final touches!
The exam timetable for the day is now available to view in our Backstage area for parents and pupils.
Remember... BIG SMILE!
AJ School of Dance is proud to follow the National Association of Teachers of Dance syllabus which has recently received Ofqual accreditation in it's Contemporary Syllabus as well as the Ballet & Tap now.

AJPG Juniors took to the stage at the York Barbican to compete in 'That's Showbiz 2015' and what a performance it was!
This was the groups debut performance on a huge stage and did AJ School of Dance and all of the parents proud!
A wonderful experience for all involved, including parents and teachers!
Some of our senior pupils took part in surprising 450+ guests at 'Hannah's Total Amaze Ball' in a spontaneous Flashmob! The event raised over £34,000 for Bowel Cancer and AJ School of Dance, and the pupils that took part, are proud to have been able to contribute to the cause.
Our dancers, disguised as waitresses, one by one took to the floor to create a spectacular dance performance that took the room by storm!
A great performance for a great cause - well done to all who took part!
Congratulations to AJ School of Dance's pupils Sarah Newton, 18, who has recently been accepted into SLP College to study dance on a 3 year diploma course and Heidi Robinson, 18, for gaining a place at Lincoln University studying on the 3 year dance course. AJ School of Dance held their annual dance summer school in August 2015 and they had a fabulous week of dancing, singing, acting, crafting and fun games, all topped off with an incredible performance to parents.
30 children aged between 2½ and 10 learnt choreography and songs from well known disney films.
